LARGE & XL BULBS (2" - 3" diameter): This is a mix of Russian Red (a rocambole) and Red Russian (a marbled purple stripe). Both types are delicious, but the crop somehow got mixed together in the field and we're letting you have them at a huge discount to make up for the uncertainty.

If you don't absolutely NEED to know which type you're planting, or eating, then this is your chance for a bargain.

The majority of bulbs (maybe 90%) will be the marbled purple stripe variety (Red Russian), but a small percentage will be the rocambole, with that outstanding flavor so characteristic of the entire rocambole family. No guarantee as to which bulbs you'll be getting (you may even get all of one or the other) and so we're offering them at an incredible price.
